These days, visits to restaurants are rather rare due to the pandemic and lunch out was special for that reason alone. The food at Bimi was a real highlight. We ordered the Bento Box Special and we got surprised with a variety of dishes of excellent quality. The restaurant is close to the opera and Bellevue and the interior is kept very minimal. I would love to come back here to enjoy a high-quality Japanese cuisine.

Pricy, but quality is great. Ambiente is modern, however personally, I'd prefer a bit more japanese flair in the place.
Great food, cozy place, nice service, bit pricy
One of the few places in Zurich where you can get cold soba and it is actually really good. The noodles were chewy and the tempura on the side was fresh and crispy. Besides noodles and the obvious sushi they have some dishes which are rare to find in Switzerland like sukiyaki. It’s recommended to make a reservation in advance if you are with a party of more than two people.
The real japanese restaurant, which real Japanese works. -lunch bento box is super good with good price(I give 4 stars because of lunch menu) -But for dinner, sushi is ok quality( shrimp was a bit smelly. I could not eat) Recommend : For lunch yes. For sushi not really.
An excellent Japanese restaurant in Zurich town area, one of the best! Sushi is perfect, prepared by the young owner himself!, all other menus are prepared and provided with kindness, care and style. I cannot help but keep coming back again and again... :)
Moved to Switzerland recently for a job and had an enormous seafood craving. Didn't have any expectations since the country has no direct connection to the seashore. Wow I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of fish (and the different cuts), ordered the uni and it was the best bite I had since I arrived. Perfect little wave of the sea in your mouth. Get with it!
