I love Althus Bar!! Great food, great atmosphere, awesome craft beer & wine selection and lovely staff. Top quality brunch and coffee on the weekend too. Visited several times and loved it every time!! Highly recommend!!

Very delicious food with ingredients from local farmers - very well prepared. Nice staff and a very good selection of beers and wine. Nice spot in the Altstadt of Zug close to the lake. Bar setup with the touch of Ice Hockey Atmosphere. Really enjoyed the time there. Nice breakfast options on Saturdays and Sundays..
New ownership as of July 2020. Been here numerous times for cocktails and dessert, dinner, or evening drinks and appetizers. Great food, fabulous location and wonderful friendly service. Impressive Craft Beer list. Super place for a relaxing evening with friends. A huge thank you for now serving breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays. Love the breakfast sandwich. Great idea having a basket of games. Dog friendly restaurant. Multiple languages spoken- English, French, German and Swiss German. Looking forward to my next visit!
Awesome night with the girls - good food (recommend the Althus share plate of local meats and cheese - and they make their own biltong); yummy home-made ice-tea and the atmosphere is fun and relaxed. It has become the location for our Stammtisch going forward for our group.
Since the new opening in July 2020, the place has a totally different atmosphere! Perfect place to try local craft beers with 8 taps, we really enjoyed the cheeseboard. Meal portions are generous and well priced!

Two people can easily get down on one pizza even though they say that they're all personal sized. We all got our own and ended up only getting through about a third of each one, which made for a really great lunch and dinner the next day with a small salad. Really tasty and the crust is perfect!
