Von Matt Hospitality Group (VMHG) was founded in Zurich, Switzerland in 2018 and provides restaurant franchising opportunities primarily in Europe and Asia Pacific. The head office is based in Zurich, with regional offices in both Bangkok and Singapore. The first gastronomy venture behind VMHG started in 2013 with the opening of their first restaurant, The Bite, a gourmet burger haven that has become one of Zurich's busiest restaurants. Two years later, the group opened Brisket Southern BBQ & Bar, a contemporary, Texan-style Southern BBQ house. Most recently in 2017, they opened Yardbird Southern Fried Chicken, also based in Zurich, and is known for its high-quality, double fried buttermilk chicken. With three established and successful restaurant brands in Zurich, VMHG was approached to franchise their businesses in APAC, with market entry starting in Bangkok. All three concepts are in their prime and are ready to be introduced to Asia-Pacific and beyond.
