This is a small, Michelin mentioned restaurant run by chef Stefan and his girl friend Ramona. Food was amazingly good. Attention was paid to quality, presentation and taste. Had a wonderful dinner. Would have given 2 extra stars if possible.

We stayed overnight...nice and peaceful place. Restaurant serves nice breakfast and is walking distance from the lake walensee.
The best food I have eaten in a long time. No a la carte. The Chef cooks a new menu every day depending on the fresh local ingredients available on the day. Very friendly service and cosy atmosphere. Not cheap but well worth it.
I'm just loving it. No menu card available! Menu is prepared by the cook and is always delicious. Accompanied with a super service personal that unfourtunately leave the Löwen on January 2018. Overall the best restaurant in Walenstadt!

Unser Besuch war von A bis Z perfekt. Das Essen schmeckte wunderbar und mit dem ausgezeichneten Service fühlt man sich von der ersten Sekunde an wohl. Man merkt und schmeckt das Herzblut der beiden Gastgeber!
Waren heute beim Mittagessen dort. Der Koch Rehli hat sich wiedermal selber übertroffen , ich werde bei ihm zum Fleischesser. Und Ramona ist die perfekte Gastgeberin. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne .
