Interesting glimpse into the past, much more than boring ruins. Kids liked the detective-trail as well.

My kids loved this scavenger hunt type tour. They had an English speaking self guided audio tour. It was interesting and informative but the recording had some inappropiate language. The kids got to make swords, oil lamps, tea, try on Roman armour, and bake bread. It took us about 4 hours to complete and there were toilets along the way.
Excellent experience, friendly and knowledgeable staff went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed ourselves.
Lovely place with a great playground for children well you don't need to be a child to have fun
There was an amazing zivi called Mathieu! Very helpful!
I used to live close to this park. Nice place and calm. During summers, it offers shadow (to escape from the sun) and beautiful colored flowers; during winters, amazing cold and \white\ walks. A lot of history on this place too. Ideal for families and kids. I've seen several times some squirrels jumping down and up the trees.
Great place to spend an afternoon with kids. We learned about first century Roman life and had lots of fun exploring the reconstructed barracks. There are opportunities to bake bread, mix a Roman tea, play ancient games or make a ceramic oil lamp. The main attraction are the audio-guide assisted tours through the area. There are several of those to choose from, depending on age group and duration (1.5 to over 3 hours). An intricate audio drama guides you from station to station, complete with recurring characters and dramatic tension. We did the Gladiators tour with children aged 6 and 7 and the 90min duration and short hike to the amphitheatre were spot on. Tip: bring food for a picknick along as the food selection is on the light side. A fire with grill is provided. Salads can be bought in the shop. Bake your own bread!
A nice place where I can walk, relax and produce nice pictures. My first visit in Switzerland at side of my friends home.
