A little food paradise in the heart of the old town of Schaffhausen. Perfectly presented dishes. Wonderful and very tasty meat or vegetarian dishes. We tried the deer back (venison) plate mmmmmh - gorgeous! Staff was very friendly and highly professional. The chef came out to us twice with a little \surprise\ plate - charming. The atmosphere is special - only a small room, one little window, little decorations - its all about the wonderful food and personal service.

Fantastic place!
We came to Schaffhaussen on a day trip while visiting Zurich, and found this restaurant after visiting Munot Fortress. The chicken cordon bleu and mushroom risotto were each superlative, and at a fair price (5 beer is a plus!). Friendly service as well, even for us tourists who don't speak German :)

Really nice place, we had a set menu for a larger group, food held a solid standard, service was attentive. A good choice for schaffhausen centre
