Very good experience in renting ski gear for my family from the Slalom Sport. They were very attentive and corteous during the whole process, and provided very good equipment. Also they have a very good selection of everything related to ski and bike.

Absolutely terrible. Reserved e-bikes for rental, even made the payment in advance. However, after having planned out the day and finally showing up the the shop, they told us they had already rented out all the bikes, and \unfortunately\ we'd just have to get a refund. Not recommended!

Really unprofessional customer service - be warned! My Family was spending our weekend in Zermatt and on our final day we planned to do a long bicycle trip. Therefore, the day before, we went on their online bike booking system, specified size weight age etc for four people and thereafter paid 270 CHF charging my credit card. The next day, upon picking up the bikes, the assistant told us that they didn’t have anymore bikes left. I showed him the reservation but there was nothing they could do. The wired back my money and was of course very sorry for the mishap. But did not offer to call any of the other shops to check if any other had bikes available. This whole incident is not a big deal in itself, but when most other activities are closed and no other shops had any available bikes, this turned out to be a big bummer.
I was in this shop to rent skis, I had a great attention from the staff and a great choice of ski and prices, The best winter/sport store in Zermatt.
Strange how all the good reviews are from local people. Not so good from tourists. The woman serving me was not particularly polite but took my driving license and it was never returned, presumed lost. She never admitted it and in an age of identity fraud it is a worry, not least the hassle and expense of getting a replacement. Be wary.
Very friendly staff here with a good selection of things to buy and gear to rent. Rented some skis and boots for my son. Quick turnaround and cheap enough.
Very helpful and friendly staff in rental and sales. Comparable rates to other rental outfits and quality equipment.
