Completely stroller friendly. This place is more for kids, than for adults. Tonnes of playgrounds all along. The whole place is like a climbing arena. You get to see hardly any enclosed animals. This is a good thing, and how it should be. The animals are happier in their huge enclosures this way.
This is amazing European animal zoo! There are tons of types of animals too see, and between the enclosures the nature is beautiful with huge rocks and trees. Each animal has tons of space to roam around. Especially the bears and the wolves have an amazing enclosure with lots of area to live in. The restaurant is nice and the gift shop is small but has some nice things. The deer roam free and you can feed them which is really cool. Overall a fantastic zoo!
Great experience for the kids. They loved feeding the deer. The small routes through rocks and trees are also a real adventure. Unfortunately parking is insufficient and poorly sign-posted so we lost significant time driving around searching (then walking). Based on a number of visits in the past 10 years the park also seems prone to lengthy queues at the entrance. Both the poor parking and entry queues must be known about - 2 stars deducted simply for not having done enough to address these things.
A very nice park and amazing experience to feed the wild goats...calmly! Although the animals are used to people, I still think security should be set up to remind parents and children how to behave as they can get wilder then the animals... (yell, jump, throw food at the animals, chase them for photos etc....).
Great park in which you can feed some animals! I strongly recommend the restaurant, with reasonable prices and excellent food quality. Congratulations to the staff!
