Monica is incredible! I feel so lucky to have found her not just for the beautiful pictures she produced, but also for the pleasure it was working with her. She is completely invested in capturing every moment of your special day. She spent time beforehand getting to know us and our preferences and planned extremely well so that wedding day was easy. On the day of, she was so enthusiastic, taking so many photos, and I could tell she was enjoying it. She also has an amazing knack for being discrete / unnoticeable during candid moments and giving guidance when posing for pictures. I can imagine this is a difficult balance to find as a photographer, but Monica does it just right. We did not notice her at all during the ceremony, yet she was taking so many pictures all the time. When we needed guidance for some posed couples photos, she helped us without being overbearing - and we had fun! I can’t imagine a better experience for wedding day photographer – Monica completely exceeded our expectations. She is just awesome at what she does. And the pictures are WOW. Monica was amazing to work with and truly captured the beauty and intimacy of our small wedding. We were coordinating just 15 friends and family from all over the world and were unsure what it would feel like to have a professional photographer at such a small wedding. After our first meeting with Monica, we felt immediately comfortable and her friendly, warm and personable approach made the whole experience even more relaxing and enjoyable. We had a couples shoot in advance (highly recommend this!) which provided an opportunity for us to get comfortable being photographed and at our wedding she was an 'invisible' presence and we don't know how she managed to capture so much detail without anyone noticing. He photography is pure art and we are so grateful to have met her. We will definitely use her services again for any future milestones!
If you want to have the most amazing pictures that are heartfelt and very artistic than Monica is the photographer for you. From the moment we met her we knew she was the right person for us. She has such a warm and welcoming way about her. She makes you comfortable which is so important on your happy day! She was very unobtrusive which allowed her to get so many beautiful candid shots. Each picture told an emotional story. I was so touched by some of the pictures that I cried. I’m so happy that Monica captured so many wonderful moments. Her artistic eye and attention to detail is what makes her pictures so unique. I can highly recommend her. A true professional. She made us look beautiful! I was very lucky to have found Monica while looking for our wedding photographer. From the second we met and when she showed me her book/style, I knew she was the one. Her expertise, her style, her personality, the several meetings months before the big day to the way she puts you at ease on the day of... I knew the photos would turn out great and we are SOOO very happy and pleased with her and her work (our family and guests have even complimented her work). I would recommend her to any of my friends and of course any future big event that need to be photographed, I would of course have Monica be our photographer. Top notch, hands down, one of the best people to work with.
If you are looking for a wedding photographer, look no further. Monica is the BEST! A true joy to work with and her eye for photography is absolutely perfect. My fiance and I are from the US, and we happened to find Monica's work during a search of Swiss photographers as the two of us planned to have a private wedding ceremony/photo shoot in Switzerland. We were incredibly impressed by her online portfolio and reached out to her for pricing and availability. Monica was always quick to respond to our requests, and she made the process seamless. After communicating through Skype and email, we decided we wanted her to be our photographer, and we were definitely not disappointed with our choice. Even without having met her in person, Monica was extremely accommodating and flexible; because it was just my fiance and me, she even gave us a window of a few days in case the weather wasn't compliant for a day or two. She also was incredibly understanding that we weren't familiar with the area and provided several recommendations for shooting locations. We were a little nervous about picking a location without seeing it first, but we ultimately trusted her, and gosh, we were so thrilled with the results. Once we got to Switzerland, Monica continued to communicate with us (she speaks perfect English, btw!) and coordinate meeting times and locations. On the day of the actual shoot, Monica was with us for several hours and captured all the beautiful details of our day. She sent us a few sneak peeks a few days after meeting which were amazing, but we were absolutely floored when we got the full set of pictures back. I cried tears of joy all over again as we relived all the moments of our day. Most everyone we've shown the pictures to have told us we have THE most epic wedding photos, and I have to agree. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would. Absolutely amazing experience...Monica is worth every single penny...or Swiss Franc!
My fiance and I had our engagement pictures taken by Monica in Luzern while we were on vacation. She is amazing! Neither of us are naturally good at getting photos taken, and my fiance specially gets really impatient with the long shootings! But she captured those moments into some really amazing and beautiful shots, and we and our friends loved them! It was a lovely way to capture our memories of the stay in Switzerland and to celebrate our engagement. I would highly recommend Monica, to anyone who wants to get their shooting done in the area. She was flexible with our times, places, and sent me proofs with and without watermarks, and I actually love her watermark as it is subtle and artistic, does not stand out loudly as some photographer's do. Every photo by her is a work of art. Keep up the fantastic work, Monica!
