Being initially a bit turned off by the fact that the hotel restaurant is buffet-style, we picked this restaurant. It turned out ok, but the food was good, not great, and the service, while friendly, was approximative: they forgot the side salad with our tartiflette, and they forgot the ice-cream with the tarte tatin. The following evening, we tried the hotel buffet-style restaurant and it was much better in quality and service, and also cheaper.

Good restaurant of Le Châtel des Bains, basically there aren't many restaurants near the area still this one would still be a really good option to go. Even during week days it full, making I better to reserve a table for better that not going it making it possible that you will wait for some time before getting a spot especially if it's weekend. I would recommend the prices are normal for the area even the country

Great place for an after spa lunch! Recommend to book as get a very busy. The staff are all very good and efficient. The food is very good and reasonably priced. If you have hungry kids, don't get the children's menu as the portion is quite small. Our 6 year old wanted a second serving bit we managed to persuade her with the chocolate cake. Tarte tatin is lovely!

Ordered the Raclette with a friend. They gave us a HUGE block of cheese and although I hated everything by the time we managed to finish it, it was very enjoyable at first. Also tried some of our friends' fondue which was also very good. Decent price for Switzerland and the amenities themselves were great.

We arrived at 22:05 to have the bar tender assume we want to eat( off course the kitchen is now closed by 5mins) and the waitress roll their eyes unhappily to receive more customer. "Great customer welcome". Topped with an overpriced dessert that was pre-heated from the freezer....sometimes success can lead to poor customer service.
