Got to be there for Sunday brunch. Very friendly atmosphere, the dishes are creative and very tasty! I think it's a good value for money, if you keep in mind you're in Switzerland! Everything you see in the picture was for about 20. And you can go on and help yourself again. :)

Great food, wonderful atmosphere, for the quality of the food reasonable prices. Just a great place for a meal right in the center of town!
If you want to try traditional Swiss food, this is the place to go. It is cafeteria style, you go in and order at the counter and they will cook it on the spot. Afterwards you pay and find your own table to sit at. The atmosphere is cute and cozy. I really recommend their Swiss style spatzle. The price for the food is very reasonable compared to a lot of other places. Although there is no English menu the staff is very friendly and helpful and does speak some English.

I returned to Basel with my wife, and thought I would introduce her to this restaurant. I think it must be my third or fourth visit. Neither of us fancied anything too heavy as we had been travelling all day,Then I remembered this restaurant from a previous visit. Kuuhl offers a range of healthy alpine style meals, and has a kind of a fast food feel, but not quite.
Took a box thru too good to go. I won’t repeat the experience. They gave me a pasta box that’s like the take away deal they usual do. Therefore I do not think we are talking about any leftover...
