As an expat, I was reluctant to try a new colourist in Switzerland, since Ive been seeing my one from back home where I visit a few times a year. However, T&G came highly recommended and my colourist (Amy) did an amazing job bringing back out the ashy blonde balayage i usually get (especially since id gone over a year without colouring it). It took 2 sessions because id gone back to my natural dark brown, but was completely worth it! All stylists speak english, so thats a huge bonus (if your french is limited, like me) :)

I booked Amy senior colorist for balayage based on her very good reviews and but they gave me someone else. i went there to get blonder and i left with much darker hair and even my existing blondes were gone. On top of that they used silver shampoo so there were stripes of grey hair on my head. They said we can shampoo it again it will go away but seriously i just wanted to get out of there. They charged me less than the original price but it feels like throwing money on the street as my hair was far far from what i went there to do. i heard before that toni n guy is way overrated but didnt expect such bad quality. Unless u go for something straight forward i really would not recommend.

Very friendly salon with a lovely staff that creates a good atmosphere. Thanks to Amy for her great advice for haircut and color and for doing a fantastic job.

This is a strange review. I’m leaving 5 stars for customer service but the actual hairdresser gets 1 star. I’ve never posted a negative review but I couldn’t believe the horrendous quality of service I received today. I have hair extensions and get regular blow drys (2 a week). My hair looked absolutely terrible (a child could have done the same look) and it took 2 hours for something that has never taken longer than 1. The manager (I assume he was the manager) was unbelievably wonderful. He saw how upset I was, how long the service took, etc. He didn’t charge me and offered to redo my hair if I come back.

Mr. Richard had worked magic to my hair. I had had a bad dying job somewhere else, and he was able to adjust the color just the way I wanted. He talked me through the process and gave me some useful advice to maintain the color. Definitely my best hairdresser in Geneva.

The salon is a lovely place with a very nice atmosphere, my stylist was super friendly and I'd love to be able to recommend her and the place, but unfortunately I am not quite happy with the haircut I got. I have waited around 2 weeks before posting my final review, as it usually takes me a while to get used to the new hairstyle, but during this time I just grew to dislike it more and more. What I came with to the salon was an outgrown blunt lob. I asked to refresh the cut slightly, without trimming off too much of my length but definitely getting rid of the blunt ends, as I felt my hair just doesn't look good like that and is very difficult to style. I thought some point cutting will do the trick and this is what I suggested to my stylist. What I ended up with are choppy layers, which don't even blend well into the rest of my hair... and yes, blunt ends! So now my hair is twice as difficult to style and it will take me months to grow out those layers which I didn't even want in the first place.
