Beautiful little zoo with free entrance and \Swiss\ animals with ample space. Be sure to also check out the nearby gorge with some spectacular views.

Nice zoo in the middle of the forest, free entrance
Gorgeous little park with some animals that are living in switzerland but rarely seen in wild. They have a space for picknick and some fireplaces. If you visit the park you can bring old bread with you. They collect it to feed the animals. The park is a little difficult to access with public transport. You can take the bus from Biel Trainstation to Biel Taubenloch. From there you need to walk 20min to the park. If you plan to visit the park think about visiting the Taubenlochschlucht along. It‘s a really beautiful valley with stunning rocks and a mysterious river.

Sadly, we went during winter and never got to see as many active animals. However, it is an acceptable zoo with a good variety of animals. Good for children.
Highly recommended a visit to this zoo, free entrance, easy car parking options around. The zoo is situated in a quiet region of the area good for the animals. I recommend visitors to contribute with a donation so the project can go ahead.
ITS A GREAT PLACE TO HANGOUT FOR PEOPLE STARTING FROM CHILDREN TO ADULTS. A VARIETY OF ANIMALS CAN BE SEEN OVER HERE. ENTRY IS FREE. THERE IS AMPLE SPACE FOR CAR PARKING.
