Excellent food. Worth a visit. Nice place. Veal dish with truffle, bacon and cheese. Very good. Fries so tasty. Chicken dish with satay sauce and mushrooms excellent. About 8 or 10 different varieties on offer with veal or pork. They also offer a good changing lunch menu. Usually quite full so I’d recommend to reserve.

Sometimes good sometimes not so good. Everything is at extra cost and doesn't always offer value for money. Probably won't go there again for a while, while you can get much better and cheaper up the road.

Excellent food. Worth a visit. Nice place. Veal dish with truffle, bacon and cheese. Very good. Fries so tasty. Chicken dish with satay sauce and mushrooms excellent. The food was very nice and well prepared. They also have very nice desserts: We tried the Crème brûlée and the apple rings with cinnamon and vanilla ice. A real pleasure.

Good food in general!! Good portion. Many choices from the menu. There is fish, chicken , veal etc ... the terrace outside is nice and well located in central basel. The service is ok the job is done. Desert are good too. It’s a good choice if you want to try swiss food.

The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere and the service was good as well. This was our most expensive meal in Switzerland, and although the prices are still not extremely high, there are probably better options out there unless you are looking specifically for the local specialty Cordon bleu. Must try it

Stumbled upon this place while spending day in Basel. A few blocks off the main path. Cute interior. Even though there was clear language barrier, our server did best to help us navigate. Food was good, but found it strange we were asked temperature for our braised beef when it came out well anyway. Regardless, wine and beer list were good although a felt a little expensive. Either way, we had a great time as server went out of here way to offer suggestions for things to do after. Would recommend if looking for place in Basel.
