Intimate museum for fans and for kids. Interesting collection on the roster. Informative and Insightful. Surprising, worth the hike/visit. Fun model layout. Definitely would be fun to see all those cars in street action. Recommended for fans and for kids.

Was a fun little museum, we got in for free with our train pass. If you are going here do a little more research and find out when they take the old cars out. It would have been cool to ride around in a car from the early part of the century. They do some sort of rides not sure when or how much it is.
Trams are an essential part of Zurich's history and present, and the museum has a nice collection of historical trams. The also have assorted items related to trams, such as the colorful signs. In the small upstairs section you'll find some interesting old photographs of Zurich when things were a little less dense than they are today. It's a small place so you won't spend a lot of time there, but it's time well-spent.
Interesting collection of old Zürich trams. Some of the teams have been modernized to serve as a cafe or lecture room which is a bit of a shame.
Very good example of transport heritage, worth a visit
The tram museum is a little hidden gem in Zürich. An interesting way to know the city through the history of public transportation. It's also a good place for families with kids since they have a play area specially dedicated to them. Small but beautiful.
This is a well maintained tram museum! The price is normal for Zurich, compared to other transportation museums in the area. The content is well curated and restored. There's a small shop with some tram and train related books and models. There's a small snack area inside, play room for children, and plenty of trams from the last 100 years to look at and climb into. This is definitely for tram fans. Good option for families on rainy weekends as well.
Fun little museum if you're kids love trains. Our son loved the old and new trans, plus the models that you could play with and the old equipment. Plus there's a nice kids play area where they can even hand power a ride in tram. Super fun couple hour trip in the city.
