Summer Baek

It is the best restaurant in Zurich to me. Their foods are delicate with special selection on organic ingredients. Aubergine tartar has smoked flavour and pea soup is creative with salty carrot. Cucumber with fish is interesting combination. In addition, their service is perfect and full of the locals. I really recommend it.

Very nice atmosphere and wonderful food. We had the tasting menu which was absolutely delicious. Also love the sardines they offer as an appetizer!

The food is amazing (small portions and fairly high price but worth it, despite the off fact that 95% of dishes have some type of cheese in them). The service though is not on par. Took 3 hrs for 3 dishes, no waiter for long period of times and not super friendly /engaging. We went not too long after restaurant opened again (2weeks) post Covid strict lockdown though so can imagine organization is more difficult and that may have impacted them. food alone I'd give a 4.8, overall/service more a 3 , so brings me to this 4 stars for the benefit of the doubt post Covid.

For a restaurant, food is most important. I had vegetarian food. I choose vegetarian dish. It was about salty. Apart from salty, it was differently delicious, you see I come from a spice country. Dessert chocolate with orange jest was superbly delicious. Red wine was fantastic. Service was excellent. Why 3? Location is difficult to find as it is hidden somewhere. Great service and very cost place. I like the concept and food is really good. It's a shame that most of vegetarian menu has cheese. Good wine selection with wines from France.
