Great food, relaxed ambience, no tap water (only bottled). Having been here a couple of times when it opened I was back in town and fancied a steak. If anything the food has got better. The prices may have risen (not sure?) but the lunch options are great value (for Zurich). Ambience is chilled from the exposed brick, natural wood, open kitchen decor to the background music - reminds me of good steak houses in New York. So does the service: "we know we have good food"-style slightly brusque but competent and efficient, no unnecessary waits. One star dropped as tap water is not available. At least the bottled stuff is a decent one (Arkina) in a glass bottle, but still an unnecessary CO2 footprint given the great quality of piped stuff in Zurich! (Feels like an attempt to make money on huge markups ;(

The food here is simply amazing. The meat is so tender and the sides are delicious. It is very expensive though, but so worth it. It's also usually really packed, do it would be wise to make reservations. The service is also excellent and the place has a really good vibe. The best food I had in Zurich by far.

This is a fairly pricey steak house with amazing food and plenty of wine and good spirits. Our large group of 8 was squeezed in without reservations (we think we got annoying enough standing around that they figure it was easier to find us a table). I’m going to say I’ve been lucky enough to have better steak on my travels but the beef was excellent, loved the fact that we could share a “steak buffet” and the sides were outstanding. Service was also great but really enjoyed our meal. Went back again on the way out of the country. It was that good.

Great place for amazing steaks!!! It's costy even for Zurich but you get the quality of a Michelin-star-quality meat. Very nice service, very helpful both for food and drinks. It's an amazing food experience. Highly recommended

Truly, a fantastic experience, with an astonishing selection of wines, wonderful service, and the best dry-aged meat in Zurich. Something I would most definitely recommend to anyone visiting Zurich.
