Plenty of shops , retailers, supermarkets , restaurants spread all over in the network of ground and underground floors. While in transit and waitiing for connecting trains, your waiting will become bearable or even enjoyable. They even have exhibition soccer matches at the station.

My favorite food/general store in France. Excellent choice of fresh meat and fish. Very good bread. Extremely clean store. Their sushi corner is okay. A bit expensive for the offer

Casual shopping , many shops and restaurants. Not a place to intentionally go to for shopping, but a great place to spend if you are waiting for your train boarding.

It's a great place to shop since it's right next to Bahnhofstrasse and it also has an underground area with plenty of shops (a whole bunch of variety too).

Open 6:30-22 / SatSun 8-22 (shops) resp. 6:30--24 (convenience shoppharmacie), more than 200 shops, cafes/bars/restaurants, tourist information, lost & found, airport baggage, cantonal police, station mission, train station church and even more. The Zurich main station is similar to the airport characterized by short distances to change. It is in great demand for shopping due to the extended opening hours, especially as all shops are also open on Sundays. Often there are various events in the main hall. Here you start with the underground Uetliberg train which takes 20 minutes to the summit of Zurich's local mountain. Across the street at river Limmat, boats leave for the lake and the National Museum with the collected Swiss history is just opposite. Tip: Stay calm, this is the most busy place in Switzerland...
