Truly a gem of a store in the heart of Zurich, very small but also very well equipped. Best part was the friendliness and expertise of the staff, super nice they took time to explain all the difference between sauces and recommend us some lovely ones. We will be back to try some more.

Excellent service. Helpful cute couple running the story. They let me try several Sakes before I decided to buy one.

Are you missing artisanal goods boasting top level quality in production and taste? Yuko Suzuki and Markus Baumgartner supply products of contemporary form though deeply rooted in the Japanese tradition. This is a speciality store, right off Zürich’s hustling and bustling Langstrasse. If you are looking for fresh culinary ideas like a wholesome miso soup or an exquisite sake or just feel like stocking up on shoyu and dashi for that little home cooking thing going on, this is the place to go.

Finally. A japanese restaurant in Zurich that serves delicious Gyudon. (beef on rice in a bowl) And the self made Miso was also one of the tastiest I ever had in Switzerland.
