First I was sceptical due to the 3,3 rating here on Google Maps and reserved some time for getting my swiss drivers license. It was lightyears better than a comparable service in Germany. I had to wait 3-4 minutes in a queue of 6 people (!) and the service was done in 5 minutes. Unbelievable efficient and friendly.

Had the worst experience taking a kontrollfahrt. The instructor was rude from the start and spoke in long german sentences even after I told him I knew only basic german. He failed me due to small details. A major waste of time and money.

Absolutely efficient. Even in this difficult period with restrictions and rules, the personnel help all to get the right info. I had to make a new plate for my motorbike, few minutes, all done!! Excellent

We moved to Switzerland in 2018 and have since visited the STVA in ZH many times due to importing a car as well as registering a few cars over the past 15 months. The STVA have always been helpful, though the tech guys downstairs, only speak German which made it challenging at times but we worked it out and I learnt some new vocabulary. Today I received new plates via post and I'm so impressed, 24 hours turn around! How did they do that! Due to the Corona close down I left a letter at the STVA Tuesday night after closing, and today Thursday I received the new plates via post, i.e. the next day! Well done guys, keep it up! PS. the STVA tech guys really enjoyed \testing\ our 717 hp Hellcat when we registered it and they had to do the drive test on their little test strip, full acceleration and wheel spin! ...the fastest that car has gone in Switzerland so far thanks to all cameras! :-)
