This is the post office with the longest opening hours in Zurich, even on weekends and most holiday. It is in walking distance to Zurich main station. There are very limited parking places available, using public transportation would be the best. If you traveled to Zurich and you are in a Swiss post office for the first time don't forget to pick a number on a device for the row. Cool. Open late and 7days a week, until 22h (before corona). All Post services. The 1thing annoying is you just can't buy stamps at the \mini frontdesk\ and need to do the line.
20 min wait to drop a return package
Overall a good post office with very good opening hours. But sometimes the waiting time is quite long and takes a lot of patience - especially on Sunday or before month end when many people pay there bills the old way...
Great place to pick up stamps. There is a small open desk for stamps instead of taking a number and waiting for an available window. A really nice man helped me pick out some pretty stamps for my postcards. He spoke excellent English.
Opening Hours takes those into consideration, who don't have a lot of free time under the working week
I was here during a Saturday at around 2 pm. The building is very big and has many counters. After waiting for 5 minutes, a young lady helped me organising my consignment. She was patient and did her job very well.I have got nothing bad to say about this post office.
Never have any problems at Sihlpost and I'm always treated friendly, respectful and professional, despite not even looking or dressing mainstream. Maybe the customers complaining about unpolite staff should approach the counter next time with a greeting and a friendly smile. Wie man in den Wald hineinruft....... .
