Just to make it clear - guys making a service do a good job. Problem lies higher up. I needed new screws for other wheels. The \boss\ ordered them and told me, he'll contact me the next day as soon as they arrive. The next day there was no info and noone picked up the phone when I called. I tried to call again the next day, the boss wasn't at work and noone knew what's going on. The boss was supposed to be back in the afternoon and call me then - so he did, the screws arrived. Pity he didn't mention that they costed a few francs more per piece, that he said before ordering (times 20 makes a difference)! I've learned it first when paying the bill. When I came, the \boss\ completely ignored me (and he recognized me, because when I drove in, he handed the screws to a coworker). Also they wanted to charge me for a service I clearly said before that isn't needed. Ended up paying anyway more than agreed before. Won't go there again.

Once I needed winter tires ends of the year and they managed to get the last set for me. Another time they did their best to figure out what tires I wanted. And last time I wanted something inexpensive and they made a great offer. All the times I had them change and store tires everything went perfectly well.

Sub-par service and bad customer relations. Tyres were removed and not marked (front, back, L and R). After I complained they tried to fool me, but I checked and there were no markings. at this point they just guessed it and now I need to hope they did it right (2 tyres are brand new!). As I drove out, there was a loud metallic sound because the attendant did not verify the service correctly and I needed to go back to fix it. At all times customer service was rough and wanted to 'waste' no seconds with customers. Before scheduling the service I asked over the phone about brakes replacement and the attendant - who seemed eager to hang up and barely listened to me - replied they do it and would check it when I got there. When I got there they said they cannot look into it during winter tyres replacement season. I would have chosen another place if they informed me in the beginning. I would NOT recommend the place.

Scammers. Tried to make me buy two new tires for 300 chf each (!!!) claiming I have special tires that can't be fixed. Charged me 30 chf for the 10 minutes that didn't help me with my problem. I went to another place which fixed each tire for 45 chf. I recommend staying away from this place, there are alternative tire houses nearby.

On the surface a very friendly staff indeed; but found out that they sold me multiple sets of tires even though the ones I had on my car were still PERFECT. I just found out that summer tires have 8mm thread when new (2mm is legal minimum). When I went to have them put on last spring, the Manager at Schaller asked if I was doing a big trip this summer; if so I should get new tires (for 1000 chf). I said no big trip; but checked out of curiosity onlite to see how much the same tires would cost at reifen direct dot com: CHF 570.-! I pointed this out to the assistant manager when I stopped by next time; and was told that reifendirect sells second rate tires made in chine etc; which is a complete lie. This fall, after driving all summer, I inquired at an other garage about my tires; they measured and said I still had MORE THAN 6mm thread; so the tires would last at least an other 30'000 km!! I went to pick up my winter tires at Schaller today, which I had stored there, to get them mounted by AN OTHER garage, and the employee taking them off the rack and of course tells me that I should replace them! They happen to have 5mm left! Don't trust them, these people are paid to lie! Premium Prices for premium Bull...
