I truly disliked the experience. I think the problem was a combination of small things. I wore a ski helmet as advised by the school, but this is a terrible idea in summer. I wish someone have told me that it won't work, ski helmet is very worm (made for winter) - you can't wear it in summer since your head becomes really hot immediately. I had to learn how to untangle and setup a glider on a steep slope because more comfortable places where already taken. I think the group was also too big for one instructor. The instructor needs to check your equipment at every attempt to take off, and with 5 students you don't get many chances to try. It was really painful to setup the glider at the place I was standing, and I had to wait for a while for instructor to come, then 3-5 sec. of attempts to raise the glider, and then a long a tedious process of trying to reassemble the glider again. You can imagine that it is not a fun experience. I also don't think the communication with the instructor worked well. I felt immediately out of place because many people where speaking swiss german which I don't understand.

Paragliding School with awesome teachers and a very well organised training. If you want to experience the fascination of flying without ever feeling uncomfortable or not secure, learn it at Paraworld. The atmosphere is very friendly and you can be sure to meet a lot of great people here. Stop by for a beer when the shop is open, and you'll see. The guidance for purchasing equipment at the shop is also good and - last but not least - the offers for paragliding experiences all over the world and for continuous education and advancements in your paragliding skills are well worth checking out too!
I did the trial session with a group of friends for 80 chf and it was so fun! We started with running down a hill with the wing and by the end, we were launching from the top of the hill for a 30 second or so flight. The gradual increase in difficulty made me feel very safe and comfortable with my skills. We were there from 11am to 4pm on the hill in pairs so we each got to launch about 5 times (walking back up the hill is a pain!). The instructors were both really helpful and positive througout the experience and we all went to the paraworld shop for a beer afterwards. Great value!

Sehr angenehme Leute. Gute Rückmeldungen und dadurch schneller Lerneffekt. Ich habe nun 30 Höhenflügen und die Grundausbildung ab dem Standort Zürich gemacht. Das Team ist motiviert und hilft gerne jedem der fliegen lernen möchte. Bei speziellen Bedürfnissen, ist die Schule flexibel und hilfsbereit. Ideal finde ich auch die grosse Auswahl an Fluggebieten. So kann viel Erfahrung mit lokalen Windsituationen gewonnen werden. Leider ist die Suche nach occasions Material von der Schule meistens nicht ganz einfach. Ich empfehle Paraworld.ch mit bestem Gewissen weiter! Jeder der ein qualitatives Komplettpacket zum fliegen lernen sucht, ist hier richtig!
Beste Flugschule der Schweiz. Super organisiert, jeder Schüler kann in seinem Tempo lernen. Die Fluglehrer sind Didaktisch sehr gut und gehen individuell auf die Schüler ein - auch wenn manchmal viele Leute mit dabei sind kommt niemand zu kurz!
Unkompliziert, hilfsbereit, freundlich, schnell, kompetent, professionell und zuverlässig. Ein Erlebnis, speziell mit paraworld.ch auf Reisen zu gehen.
