Situated on the edge of Old Town on the bank of Lake Zurich, the Opera House is a beautiful building and is as grand as many other older and well known opera houses in Europe. We did not visit the inside however the exterior is of beautiful architecture and the setting right near Lake Zurich makes this such a nice scene. Next time we would definitely like to tour the inside or even attend an opera.

Excellent combination of fine food and relaxed, friendly service. The Inspirations menu (3-6 courses) is very worthwhile.
We came for dinner during the week and were not disappointed. The dining room is intimate, and the ceiling has some exotic decorations (you can try to find directions to the restrooms there). Service was slightly formal, but friendly. We had the tasting menu and the dishes were great: well balanced, with a tendency for big flavors. The wine is good and prices are in line with the city Zurich standard (i.e. not cheap). Overall, we really enjoyed the experience.
This rating is about the bar. Slow service and odd wine list on an iPad. They could do much better.
Really nice food - interesting decor
Wonderful restaurant with exquisite food creations, a beautiful atmosphere, and elegant service. Serving the wine was like a beautifully arranged choreography. One point though, waiters should not promise guests items, that they then not deliver. Broken promises are not appealing.
I had the most delicious birthday dinner here. Great food, friendly service and a beautiful setting. I will be back!
