The Oak Bar is part of the hotel Glarnischhof both of which were wonderful. The Oak Bar has a lovely outdoor seating area, couch and chairs. The staff is very professional and courteous. Thank you for a great experience.

Top high-end bar with awesome drinks and cocktails. Definitely worth the prices. Great place for a nice afterwork drink as well, if you prefer quiet, not to crowded places.

We went here on a Saturday night and the bar was almost empty. While it looked beautiful, it had that certain sterile hotel bar feel to it. I would guess that they only get business travellers as guests. We ordered our drinks and quickly got some delicious cheese and salami to nibble on. This was needed since it took quite some time before we got the drinks. To make matters worse, it took them 10 full minutes to serve all four cocktails. For such a small group, you should be able to prepare the drinks and serve them all at once, especially when the bar is empty. The drinks were average, nothing fancy or high-end to justify the high price tag. As an example, my Espresso Martini was made with Absolut Vodka. Furthermore, we could see how our bartenders were looking up the ingredients while mixing the drinks (we ordered simple drinks like Cosmopolitan and Espresso Martini). My guess is that the bartenders we saw also work the other shifts in the hotel. There are much better bars around the corner: Onyx in the Hyatt and BarFly'z. We'll go there next time we're in the area.
