Excellent knife store with a superb selection, very competent, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Can only recommend to anyone who wants to make sure they get the perfect knife collection.
We took a fantastic knife sharpening course here as a couple. The lovely owners Reto and Cornelia are knife experts who are super friendly, and you get hands-on guidance on how to pick a good knife and how to sharpen your knives during the 3hr workshop. We brought 3-4 knives from home and sharpened them ourselves and Reto helped us restore them like new! The store is beautiful, well equipped with diverse knives, scissors and related tools. We were also greeted with a delicious homemade fresh apero including fingerfood and drinks and had lots to eat during the whole evening. They also have a knife sharpening service which is very reasonably priced. Many chefs and hairdressers bring their tools over here to sharpen and prep them like new again. Totally worth a visit if you want to understand about knives and get good expert guidance, purchase and repair knives.
Got my 1997 Swiss Army Knife serviced there. Excellent service, good as new. Great shop too.
