Wholeheartedly recommend this nursery Our son has been at Little Learners since he was 9 months old, he’s been there for 1.5 years now. Our overall experience has been nothing but positive. The settling in period was very well structured and he settled in quickly. All the staff are highly qualified and very warm and caring. The food for the little ones is prepared on site, the menu is lovely. Every day, the children spend some time outdoors, rain or shine. Activities are well structured, diverse and age appropriate. Little Learners is run by the lovely couple Anja and Andy. This makes such a difference compared to big nursery chains that you find across Zurich. I’m amazed at the number of activities that is organized for families outside nursery hours, such as Samichlaus, Summer Party, Halloween Party etc. We also highly appreciate the flexibility to change days / book extra days if possible. I work in consultancy and not every week is the same. Very happy to find such an accommodating day care after I have experienced the opposite in another nursery. We can fully recommend Little Learners to anyone looking for an excellent daycare around Witikon.

Managed and led by the caring founders and owners Anja and Andy. Well educated and qualified employees, passionate and warm hearted team with a high team spirit. The team always goes the extra mile and are much endeavoured to take care of individual needs of the children, they support and encourage them. And most important: Kids love to go to the day care center and it’s even difficult to pick them in the evening! I can only recommend the Little Learnes day care and the entire team. There are clear responsibilities (as opposed to “everybody is a bit in charge…”) and there are dedicated individual team members as related person for each child. Very transparent and convincing pedagogical concept and values. Trust me, if you ever experienced the opposite, you are happy your day care follows a clear concept. Very structured day that allows also to take care of each individual child. Furthermore, there are a lot of events throughout the year parents and kids are offered to participate in. This includes Samichlausentag, mother’s day breakfast, special theme weeks (such as ships, forest, zoo…), summer festival, yearly positioning determination (such as prior to the kindergarten enrolment) and much more.
Our two kids have been in Little Learners Daycare since their age of 7 and 9 months. They have both joined the LL Afterschool Club (Hort) from the age of approx. 4 years. We are very happy as they talk always with a lot of enthusiasm about the activities and fun they have in the LL group every day. What we find highly useful and interesting is that LL team organizes the events for kids during school holidays or spontaneously during the semester, when the kids can learn useful practical things e.g. about electricity, cars, behavior of dogs, police, recycling, and of course English language (as bilingual KiTa). We also appreciate very much that LL Caterpillar/Butterfly team took a special care of our daughter who needs a bit more attention due to her sensitive skin. The team eagerly learnt with our help to take care of all blisters and wounds in everyday life of our daughter. Thanks to the help of LL team, our daughter could attend the day care as every other child allowing her to develop self-confidence and not suffer from having certain disabilities. On the other hand, her small peers learn about accepting the differences and taking care of their friend, which is very touching to see. We discussed openly with the owners and the LL team about any problems we encountered in the last years. They were highly cooperative and we solved straightforwardly all issues. Additionally, we can exchange the days in the day-care when it is needed and ask for additional services, which helps us a lot when we have some unplanned duties at work. We would recommend readily the Little Learners Daycare and Afterschool club to all our neighbors and friends.

Unsere beiden Kinder besuchen die Spielgruppe bereits seit 6 Monaten und sind da sehr sehr glücklich. Die können jeden Tag kaum erwarten, bis die wieder hindürfen. Anja und Andy sind immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir könnten uns nichts Besseres wünschen.
