Firstly I have to say, that I really wanted to love this place after having seen the menu and location. Being half Peruvian I always look forward to a good Ceviche and Peruvian/Fusion cuisine. The positive first: the food was very tasty, know that if you’d like a cocktail (such as a Pisco Sour) there is a separate cocktail menu that is not made available right away. The interior design in the inside space is very tasteful. The view from the terrace is lovely, but the seating and table arrangement by the railing are neither comfortable nor spacious enough when ordering a few dishes. We ordered four (luckily not more) and all were brought out at once without asking first, easily overcrowding the small table. The service was mediocre. At other tables they would refill the water glasses, not at ours. I’m not sure if there is a Hotel guest v. Restaurant guest tier system on service level, or maybe the staff was simply stressed, as the service in general felt rushed. For example we ordered an assorted desert, which was delivered without comment or explanation of flavours. The toilet situation: there is one women’s toilet in the whole rooftop floor level, which is clearly not enough as there was a queue of three when I had to use it. In summary: I don’t think I’ll go back, as even though the food was good and the view very nice, I expect better service and seating arrangement at this price level. Kudos to the chef though.

The roof top terrace is absolutely stunning. High quality food. Sushi is delicious. Friendly and efficient service. Did not try the cocktails but they looked good as well.
I cannot but give this place anything less. From the onset, greeting, service, staff, atmosphere and especially the food were all exceptional. We ordered for the start 4 plates to try and share. The cerviche de conchitas, delicate in flavour and taste. The Gyoza with tenderloin and truffle, the taste was nothing we had before wonderful and sauce rich and flavoursome. King crab roll, was a delicious and soft. Pork Bao buns, could not have been more authentic in taste, beautiful texture. With some rose (whispering angels) and a glass of red for me (Babera d Alba) we were ready for the next set, we ordered. The Gindara, blackened cod with miso, absolutely divine. And followed by the crispy shake, salmon tartar with chilli on a little pillow of fried rice, out of this world, we loved this so much we ordered again. Another glass of wine, yes please!!!
Great atmosphere, beautiful view and interesting Peruvian Japanese dishes. The portions are tiny for the prices charged. The black cod is not there yet ( had much better ones in Japanese restaurants) too bad. The hotel did a fantastic job in renovation.
We went there for my husbands birthday and loved the view and the athmosphere! Delicious sea food with lots of options. I tried their black cod and it was a dish to remember! the sauce was excellent! Even if you are not up for eating food, go there for the view of beautiful Zurich and you will feel great about yourself :D
