I live in Canada. I purchased a Caroline wallet from the Freitag online store at the above address. It was pricey but I will pay more for recycled goods. My warning is: when I opened the package there was a terrible chemical smell from the wallet. I left it out for a few days on a table and found that the whole room was filled with the chemical smell. I sent the wallet back. At first Freitag refunded the purchase price but stating that leather has a smell to it also. They would not refund shipping or duty and taxes stating the smell was not a defect. After a second email Freitag said they would refund half of the shipping cost. Freitag also said I chose the most express shipping which is not true. When putting in my address only 1 shipping option came up. I also asked Freitag if there had been any safety testing on the smell from the recycle tarps which they never did answer. Freitag only said it has been used as tarps for transporting goods (which we all know) as well as bags and is not poisonous. A wallet is in your purse and around your personal items and you are touching it and breathing in the smell. Freitag stated \it is really for you to find out if a material agrees with you beforehand\ Freitag said this in an email knowing Freitag only had 2 stores in the whole of North America. There is no warning of the chemical smell under the description of each tarp item when ordering, only an answer under frequently asked questions that says yes the tarp products have a \funny\ smell. Please beware when ordering from this company.

Das ist eine echt coole Firma. Mann sollte von die lernen, wie man ökologisch, Menschen freundlich und Umwelt bewusst eine Firma leitet und funktioniert. Ich empfehle die HP von FREITAG. Eine jugendliche, energetische Firma was mit zieht. Bravo. Eine Besuch mit Leitung ist empfehlenswert.
