YES, FOR THE VIEWS: from the outdoor terrace it's one of my favourite places in Zurich - you'll see parts of the city, the lake and the Alps (also worth having a walk in the surroundings and the forrest). NO, FOR THE FOOD: in my experience, its not the best, it's rather cheap and greasy wok food, no fresh ingredients. I would not recommend to come for the food. But rather for a coffee in the afternoon. The service is ok - they do what they have to do - don't expect any extra friendliness. The interior of the restaurant is not specially nice - it's cheap and convenient. They exist due to the location - not from the culinary experience or service. Well, you can also do a nice picknick in the area and enjoy the views.

Fantastic view and food. Really good place for business meetings or special occasions. Enjoyed every second of my visit there.

Open 9-23, parking, outdoor terrace, banquet rooms, classic Swiss cuisine. The waid is a very popular destination because of the phenomenal view from the slope of the "Beetle mountain" which can be combined with a forest walk. Always busy, reservation recommended.

Delicious food with one of the best views over the city of Zurich. The staff is competent and friendly. The menues go from classic traditional Swiss meals (with a twist) over to seasonal combinations with local ingredients. There is a wide choice and none of it will disappoint. Also the drinks, deserts and appetizers are great. Tehe restaurant is on the higher price range but well worth a treat. Great location for a special occasion. One of the best spots in Zurich. Especially for dinner it gives a great view over the city with the lake and the mountains in the background. The sunset can be seen from the table and the lights of the city at night just give a charming ambiance. A must visit!

Definitely come here to enjoy the view. There are two sides to this restaurant one with Asian wok food and the other typical Swiss food. Loads of people ordered the tartare around us. Wouldn’t recommend coming here if your vegetarian, on the regular menu there were only a few items without meat or Fisch. I had a bit of problem with my poor German and my server not speaking any English to help. I ended up ordering the daily vegetarian menu which I wouldn’t have gotten if I was able to read the menu properly, it was gnocchi drowned and swimming in a bowl of creamy sauce. The starter vegetable salad was delicious and I wished I could have had a large one of those instead. My daughter though absolutely loved her meal of nuggets and Pom Frits with Kinder syrup.

The view is beautiful, the food tastes absolutely good and (for me important) the portions are relatively big. I eat above average amounts usually and they delivered! We had the "We will Wok you" menu, where the salad, the three woks and the desert tasted very very good. We will come back with the whole family for sure! The price is perfectly fine for what you get (that's coming from a student). The personell was nice to us as well. We will come back :)

I had been waiting for 30min. for a seat and when I finally got one I sat down and ordered a cappuccino then after my coffe arrived I had taken up my laptop to study when a older man/waiter came to me and said that this was not a working place. Since when does someone say what you do by your table while you drink coffee that you’re going to pay for. So my reccomendations for this place are zero at least for the hospitality! This is the first time that I experiance this kind of attitude!

Yes, fantastic view and very slow service. If you wait 20 min. for 4 beer. should give 2 stars.
