Very nice the place! the teacher are very good!!!!, the school provide to you a book with CD but it's a old technology I can't use in my computer... It's better if you can listen the audio in a web site. So, the practice of talk and listen it's only in the class. The classroom it's a bit small so the distance between student is not for corona, the students is between 9 or 11 for class

Alemania in Zurich is cheaper than other schools in Zurich, the teachers are professional and the quality of teaching is good. The class sizes tend to be medium large, but fair for the cost per lesson. However, while some receptionists and admin are friendly and professional, others could do with training. I also think Alemanias own schoolbook for the beginner levels is old fashioned and not up to the quality standard of modern books from well known publishers, which Alemania uses at more advanced levels.

My experience with Alemania Deutschschule was a positive one. I've been there for an A1.1 intensive four-week course. The location was easy to reach by tram, the teacher was friendly and did a good job keeping the class motivated. The only downside was that sometimes we had to speed through or even skip some of the course material because of lack of time. Although frustrating at the time, in the meantime I learned that this is the case in other schools as well. There is just too much information in a course and teachers sometimes need to adjust the pace to the slower students so they don't get completely lost. All in all, good service quality for the price.

Had mixed feelings for my six months there. I was there for morning intensive for one month, then switched to evening semi-intensive. Andreas and Thomas are fantastic teachers, organized, come with a teaching plan, explain grammar crystal clear! Best you can have! Whereas one very young teacher I worked with, who came with no plan, reviewed repeatedly time, dates and very simple A1.1 stuff on A2.3 classes, prompted students to talk with our poor vocabulary in most time of the class, only within less than 20% of the time she'd walked us through the proper content of the book, but never did once 'arbeitsbuche', so strange...and huge loss of time...So I probably will change school after A2.3. However my husband is satisfied with his experience with teacher Mai at his semi-intensive class. UPDATE: Here I am again! Now am very satisfied at the B1.1 with Julia! Wish Julia would continue with my class through the B1 level! Keep it up!

Great location. Prepared and experienced teacher. I am currently attending Mario’s class and he is a super teacher. There are flexible intensive course options, only 2 hours per day, so that I can learn German only in the morning (or possibly only in the afternoon) when my child is in Kindergarten. Less hour also means affordable price per month. I definitely recommend the school with flexible time and tuition.
