Great concept! Zero waste. You can buy food or eat on site. Table are far away from each other and there is also a terrasse. Covid safe. Food is absolutely delicious especially the vegan soups (lentils, chickpeas...)

The Zollfrei is a modern and cozy Zero Waste café. Everything is organic and most of the food is produced by local farmers. At the bar you'll find a wide variety of pastries and (non-)alcoholic beverages like coffee and beer. There are several stations in the room where you can fill up your glasses and containers with dry food like pasta, lentils, spices, chocolate and more. If you don't have a suitable container to bring with you there are plenty of glasses in different sizes to buy. There's also a station with fresh vegetables. In addition to the big interior with many seating options there's also a terrace to sit outside. A really cute feature is the tipi tent for the children. Information for the vegans: There will be pastries and self-made almond milk to order at the bar and vegan Zopf bread every Sunday. The team is currently discussing if they will offer a fully vegan menu once a week. I'll edit the review as soon as I know more.

Nur kurz einen Kaffee getrunken. Hintere Terrasse ist super gemütlich. Kaffee trinken im kühlen Schatten zwischen Gewürzen und Heilkräutern... was will man mehr?

Kaffee war wässerig und das Gluten freie Bananenbrot verschimmelt. Angestellte war aber verständnisvoll und konnte dafür was anderes aussuchen. Ich weiss nicht ob ich wieder komme. Der Laden ist aber sonst super für mamis mit Kinder, Spielplätzchen, Wickeltisch, gut für Baggis zugänglich.

Sehr Freundlich, auserlesen, lecker und gemütlich, so ist das Café. Das Geschäft hält einige leckere Überraschungen bereit, unter anderem eine breite Palette an sehr lokalen Produkten, und alles mehr oder weniger unverpackt, zum selber Abfüllen.
