My friends and I were originally booked in another hotel but we were rebooked to Hotel Sonne instead due to overbooking. We can't complain though! Hotel Sonne offered more than what we expected. All the staff were very attentive and patient with us. Buffet breakfast was superb. Their dinner menu was sumptuous and were served very efficiently. Their fondue house also didn't disappoint. Bonus points for the bar that's open 'till 11PM. Would definitely recommend to friends and family, and might return again someday!

We really like this place. Second time we have visited and always friendly (now familiar) faces welcome us. It’s a quintessential family-run business in terms of hospitality. They continue to invest in the property, so it is very nice and up-to-date. Great new bar area and the restaurants food was nice.
Super clean, very high Swiss class and comfortable hotel in the center of Zetmatt. Great hospitality. Quite big SPA, several pools, several saunas, fitness equipment of high quality. We enjoyed breakfast very much. We spent some days here and it was not crowded (beg. of Oct 20). We stayed in Junior Suite which is well equipped, big enough and you will feel premium quality in all details.
Very nice swiss hotel. Style is very suitable for Zermatt. The bathroom etc. are very modern and in a luxury style. The Restaurant with a wide range of Tapaz is very nice. There is a indoor pool, outdoor wirlpool, spa and sauna. The owner family is very friendly, just great people. Hospitality is just great in this place. I fully recommend it! Take a look and enjoy it!
We originally booked the Hotel Sonne in March 2020 for our 20th wedding anniversary as we stayed at the Hotel Sonne for our honeymoon - which was a fabulous experience all those years ago. Unfortunately our trip was cancelled due to COVID and was rebooked for March 2021 using a voucher that the Hotel Sonne gracefully provided (they were under no obligation to do so). Regrettably we have had to cancel again as we cannot exit the UK until May. Once again the Hotel Sonne have rebooked us for March 2022 without penalty or any fuss. The Hotel Sonne have been absolutely brilliant and completely understanding of our circumstances. We cannot wait for March 2022!
Great Hotel. Clean, beautiful rooms. Nice swimming pool and outdoor jacuzi. excellent food from different cuisines. Nice bar with good drinks. Exceptional service from the whole staff. I will definitely visit again!

We went there for the tapas (didn't stay at the hotel). The tapas were very nice and the service welcoming. I recommend.
