In the past I always had a good experience in this pharmacy, but recently I was disappointed with the service and quality of herbal medicine i bought. I am a trained medical herbalist from the UK. I ordered some herbs from this shop and the bag was damaged with little holes in the package, when i raised my concern with the assistant she was very rude and very stressed out with my news.(i was not at all stressed about it, infact I was happy to keep the herbs, I told her with a smile on my face, but I just wanted to let her know, so she can check with her supplier for infestation or damage during transit) I had already paid for it so to be honest, I just wanted to inform them discreetly, I was not looking for reimbursement. She stormed off with a very red face and didnt ask me to please wait or anything polite like that, but she went off to the back of the shop to tell another woman, who apparently didnt want to deal with me, but I did overhear her saying “Elle ne parle pas de français?” In an irritated tone. (I had been speaking french the whole time but the assistant thought to mention that I was not Swiss, obviously that made a difference) so I shouted through the wall that everything was fine, I just wanted to let you know so you can check with your supplier, and i walked off around the corner to the other herbalist on the rue de mileu (who offer a great and informative service :) and welcomes foreigners!! There is another assistant in this shop who i found very friendly and i used to enjoy going in this shop but I’m sad to say that after this experience I will not return and neither will my friends.
