Disclaimer: I work for Deep Impact, the tech partner of MedInside. However, I do not work/never worked for MedInside, nor on any projects/products related to MedInside, I'm in another department. I'm new to Switzerland, and however I never had too much interests in health care articles, I was curious what other people at my company working on. There are tons of great projects, and this is also the way how I met this online news portal. The main benefits for me are the followings: It is absolutely understandable for me, a non-professional health-care reader, even with my broken German. However I'm not a maniac reader of health-care studies, I easily found tens of articles that were interesting for me too. Every aspect of health-care is covered including insurances/finance, hospitals, pharmacies, patients, tax, etc. I especially like the COVID related articles, not only for being a hot topic now, but because it shows me how differently it is handled here compared to my home country. The allegations are supported by facts/statistics. Some articles push the boundaries of taboos, there are definitely more philosophic questions arise than what you find in mainstream media. You need an open mind to read these posts. The only con I can mention is: I do not like the design too much, probably it's my taste. On the other, in case of a news site the focus must be on quality written articles and I cannot complain about that at all.
