Stellar food in one of the most relaxed restaurants in town, been there dozens of times over many years, worth every time.
Absolutely fantastic. I had the Tartar and it was inventive, simple and just good. Good company included we enjoyed a great service too. Every time a treat!
Real neighbourhood bistro feel here. Interesting menu that justifies the wild Man name - first time (at least in Europe) I’d ever seen grasshoppers and zebra on the menu. Nice eclectic wine list and good choice of beers. Staff extremely friendly.
It's actually really frustrating because it really could be one of the better affordable restaurants in Zurich. There's worse places in Zurich, it's true, though, you'd be hard pressed to find them. Don't bother going here if you're vegetarian - fish and shrimp are labeled plants. You're lucky if you get to order inside of 45 minutes at lunch, and for all the effort they put into the atmosphere and design, bringing out a tube of Thommy mustard or mayonnaise is about how classy they are, even though they go to all the trouble of cutting board plates and things like sweet potato fries. It's an effort that falls flat because of unfriendly/unhappy staff, and an insane idea of what a vegetable is. And to think that it is such an easy fix...

Really nicely decorated place, food was alright, we had one waitress who was lovely but the other one was perhaps having an extremely bad day or really hates her job? Just super unfriendly. And it’s CHF 7 for a bottle of tap water, it’s for project wfw, but still.. 7 is a lot
A high-end neinourhood place with authentic, fresh food and some unusual dishes. Watch out for the tatar - spicy meand spicy.
