Very convenient. For free you can recycle paper, cardboard, glass, aluminum, PET, old clothes and shoes, metal, and electrical equipment. The only thing they do not take is plastic. Usually they are open 24/7/365 but not during Corona lockdown so check opening hours.

Very convenient 'one-stop-shop' for most recycling needs, especially for anyone living in and around Zürich Nord (North). There are scheduled dates in every locality for recycling different categories of items, e.g. paper, cardboard etc. Moreover, most grocery stores have boxes for PET bottles, milk cartons, aluminium etc. However, if you have ad-hoc needs, in particular, and a mish-mash of different kinds of items that need recycling, this is the place. Moreover, the opening hours will provide you with ample opportunities or flexibility.
