Unbelievable: For those of you considering booking a flight on United Airlines: We have booked a flight in the first week of March to June (Vienna, Austria to New York, USA). However, due to the current legal situation (COVID19), countries from the Schengen area are not allowed to enter America. After we received a full refund from other airlines, United Airlines mentioned during our conversation with the customer support that the flights can still take place and that we therefore do not receive a refund. That for the United States currently travel warning level 6 applies and therefore all insurances fail is one thing. The other thing is that the USA does not allow you to enter the country if you come from the Schengen area. Honestly: How humanly does this airline think, when they suggest you to spend your 2 weeks in America in quarantine. Freely according to the principle: "Well, our service is feasible." An airline, which gets 5 billion dollars from the state for handling the crisis should in my opinion have some understanding for its customers. I haven't experienced anything so cheeky in recent years - as far as travel is concerned.

United Airlines hat mir unfreiwillig einen Flug verwehrt. Mir ist ein finanzieller Schaden von ca 3500 Euro entstanden. Eine Familie wurde auseinander gerissen, Kinder haben geweint. Eine Stornierung von Hotel etc. War nicht mehr möglich. Überhaupt kein Kundenservice weder Email noch telefonischer Kontakt. Am liebsten würde ich 0 Sterne geben. Nie wieder United airlines

ich sage danke!!! bei meinem LH flug richtung usa/boston, von wien aus, gab es leider wetterbedingt doch einige mehrere schwierigkeiten bezgl. abflug, weiterflug usw. auf jeden fall wurde ich aufeinen flug mit der UA über wien/zürich/washington dulles umgebucht. ich muss mich wirklich bei den mitarbeiter/innen der UA vielmals bedanken!!! abgesehen von meinem persönlichen stress, der durch die hin-her-bucherei, airportwechsel, rennerei usw. entstanden ist, ging es ja nicht nur mir so, nein zick andere passagiere waren mit von der partie ;) ich nehme an, dass die unangenehmen umstände auch den stresslevel der UA-mitarbeiter/innen erhöht haben, jedoch die damen und herren blieben aber so was von freundlich und hilfsbereit - TOLL!!!! auf jeden fall bin ich dank der UA, zwar ein wenig müde, aber doch freudestrahlend in boston angekommen, danke!!!!!
