UNAIDS, such an important organization but much is being talked about it all over the web. Many phrases are being used to refer UNAIDS - Boys club, power abuse by senior managers, organization with no focus on its targets, inefficient use, forced movement and harassment of staff, not a place for young and talented people and many more. UNAIDS and its Executive director have without doubt positively changed the lives of millions of HIV positive people and placed human rights on top of its agenda. Despite all the accusations against this organization, there is continued hope that UNAIDS will thrive to do what it was created for - Ending AIDS. Among all the UN organizations, African people and those in epidemic affected regions believe that UNAIDS is the most accountable entity to its stakeholders and there is trust that UNAIDS will be instrumental in ending AIDS.
