I went to this hotel on a impulsive solo trip (best trip ever). This hotel felt really warm welcome and personal. I cannot wait to come back here! The rooms are cute just like Thun and the personal is really nice and helpful.

Mhhh what a fantastic cordon bleu. This visit was a really lucky one. The rustic atmosphere suits the old town. This is exactly what we were looking for and found. Great, we will be back!

Unbeatable and quiet yet central location, really cute rooms. You fall asleep easily with the sound of the fountain on the nearby square when you leave your windows open. Don't worry about the shared bathrooms as they were always clean and smelled good. Highly recommended.

What a lovely little gem this Zunfthaus zu Metzgern is..! This family run, traditional Swiss restaurant and hotel, in a historical building, is just wonderful... The rooms are quaint and tastefully decorated, the location, right on the Rathausplatz, is unbeatable and the hosts, Mr. & Mrs. Wenger, are just delightful..! Thank you for a perfect stay...

Last minute reservation, stayed one night. Nice people, fast responses, overall great service. The old building has it's obvious limitations as well as the location with it's advantages and disadvantages.

The guesthouse is in a great location in the town square and right next to the steps leading up to the castle. Communication with the hosts was quick and easy. The room was great - a good size, clean, and a great view across the square.

Very nice hotel, staff is friendly and rooms are comfortable and bright. They even accommodated a room originally for four with a fifth bed since we were five and there was still enough space. Bathrooms are very clean and just a very nice experience overall.
