Last time I've been here was for a ballet production and loved it. Theatres and ballets are quite pricey in Switzerland in general (options for yearly subscriptions and student discounts exist, however), just as a heads-up for anyone expecting different pricing. They also have a youth group for young talents in case your kids/teens think this would be something they'd like to do in their free time.

a nice place for cultural and Jung-Bürger events. we have watched the International Kurzfilm-Tage in Winterthur. I did not like the chairs in the Film-Theatre ;-(

A pretty theatre only a foodwalk away from Winterthur main train station. No own actors but many nice guest acts.
