This is an outstanding restaurant. Both the food and the level of service surpassed my expectations. I had a 50% discount but every dish would have been worth paying full price for. It is clear this restaurant really cares about their ingredients and cooking technique.

The food is very good. Tried the salmon and also the chicken with teriyaki. Both very tasty. Only negative would be the very small portion of rice.

Very pleasant experience at the Takasan Asian Fusion Restaurant. Had dinner with a friend here on a Friday evening. Service was fast and friendly. Food was good, with nice presentation. We ordered some shrimp gyoza as entrée, a Teppanyaki salmon, and one of the set menus (which comes with an algae salad, some sushi, Teppanyaki with a side of rice and a dessert). Both of us received complimentary fried spring rolls (as an amuse-bouche). My salmon Teppanyaki was a bit on the saltier side for my taste, would've preferred a bit less sauce. The dessert (green tea ice cream with mochi and red beans) was delicious! Overall a great experience. Price is average (about the same price as what dinner out for two in Lausanne would cost). Would recommend!

The lunch buffet was surprisingly good - for 25CHF p.p. the amount of proteins available (chicken, beef, shrimp, tofu dishes) is pleasantly surprising. Choice is reasonably varied and foods are very well seasoned. The place is getting more popular at lunch so hopefully they can keep up the great work!

Simply low-medium quality and overpriced. I explain you why: fish in sushi sushi is not a lot, tuna is pretty dark (low fat and tasteless), carpaccios are really thin and drawing in the sauce, crispy pork is not crispy, chicken bites are really too sugary, padthai is a mass of sauce where you cannot get easily the taste of ingredients, shrimps were well cleaned but had a strange taste. Plus portions may be small and really pricy. I do not suggest you to go there, it s just a fusion mess menu with nothing really worth.

This is a must feel in Lausanne. Service superb. Teppanyaki we unfortunately did not try but Peking duck was AWESOME! I just have to convince my wife to go there soon again. I was so happy after the dinner and the exclusive service. THANK YOU the Takasan team!
