Great cave(s), an absolute must to visit in this region. If you are coming to Interlaken or any other place on Thunersee or Brienzersee, then plan at least half a day to spend here. The caves themselves are not too deep and take about 1 hour to observe, heavily dependent on the amount of photos you are making. You shall account for a road (30-60 minutes from other places on Thunersee), hiking up from the road and waiting for ticketing (10-30 minutes), museum (5-30 minutes) and having a snack (be your own judge here). It is quite cold inside (9C or about 48F) , so I would suggest taking some extra warm clothes with you, if coming here on a warm summer day. Outside there is a restaurant right outside of the caves entrance (looks good, but I'm avoiding any public eating venues currently). There is also a neat picknick area with an very decent view (my choice, since it was empty).

Amazing and very cool place...outside you can see the different colours in light...but inside its darkness and beautiful nature creations...different shapes of stones...worth to visit the place...15min from Interlaken by bus...We went by bus...safe for children even though its caves...entrance and all small bridges are very nice to view and designed.. all the safety measures taken care and good information, direction given inside the caves..lights used in a such way that you can see the natural view ...When I went there ...there was not much queue for tickets...

Very cool caves to visit. Parking can be a challenge but we lucked out and got a spot. A decent walk up to the entrance. The line looked a bit long to get a ticket but it moved quickly. The caves are really interesting and beautiful. Amazing what nature can do. It can get a little congested in area where the path is narrow but not bad. Temps are nice and cool. The museum included with the cave entrance is small but good info.

Amazing place to go to if you're in the area or if you're able to get to. The caves are extremely deep but the general public can only go so far which was still deep enough. You can either go with the tour guide in a group or by yourself which is what I did. The rock formations look like something from a picture on the Google images. Was a nice long trek to even get to the entrance so be warned.

Beautiful caves. It's a bit expensive but the walk is not short. Nice view. Take a coat, it gets pretty chilly inside!
