It's high up in the mountains with a nice view over the city. It is however a bit difficult to find the first time and parking isn't easy either. The dinner is great since the host is an ex cook and the breakfast was good as well. The rooms are tidey and there is plenty of entertainment in the form of a games room and a TV room.
Worst hostel I have ever been to. The staff is unfriendly and not helpful. Pretty much every thing costs extra. I had to pay 1 chf for a fork. Unbelievable. The food was horrible and the same pasta dish was served 3 days straight. The advertised grill is completely broken. The table tennis table is good but the rackets and balls were broken. The showers were all half broken and doors to toilets and showers didnt close properly. After 1 day the paper towels and soap was gone and it tool 3 days to get refilled. The rooms are normal. The location is 20 mins from the city centre by foot and 10 by tram. The view is great though
The Toilet-doors are smashing like crazy! If you want to sleep ask for a room as far away from the toilets as possible! (2017) Die Toilettentüren knallen alles wach! Worst hotel of our life, staff was horribly unfriendly, there was no wifi when asked the lady at reception told that she didn't know...the cost was 146 euro for a night, almost everything we need we had to pay extra, the room was cold and ugly...!!!NEVER GO TO THIS HOTEL!!!
expensive, unfriendly, bad food, not enough food so one of the group had to go hungry, ridiculous expensive laundry service, annoying reception times, horrible wifi, two showers for roughly 20 people good breakfast, good view, nice garden
