Great Ambience, yummy food and friendly staff. Visited Spice of India with my family for lunch (very appetising buffet) and dinner (a la carte). Both were lovely experiences. Would totally recommend the goan prawn curry with rice and the chicken tikka masala with naan, apart from everything else we ate, all of which were delicious. The well stocked bar was indeed a head turner, and we couldn't help but indulge in a couple of cocktails, which were awesome by the way, accompanied by the signature snack of peanut masala. All in all, great place to chill out with friends or family.
Just two words Super Excellent food. When ever I come to Basel this is the place I take food from. The cook in this restaurant is from north India that could be one of the reason why I find the food taste exactly like how I find in India. The owner of this restaurant is also super nice, she customised all my food as per my taste buds. For future customers of this restaurant I want to mention that this place is on the first floor towards the railway station. From ground floor you need to take lift to come to this restaurant. My strong suggestion is you should at least visit once to this place. Then it is my guarantee that you will come again.
Great indian food with lot of different cuisines.
If you are looking for some delicious authentic indian food; this is the place to be. You will not be disappointed. Celebrated my son’s first birthday at Spice of India and I simply loved it. From the place to food to staff everything was just perfect. Amazing food, very helpful staff and the owner Elaine what a wonderful lady she is. Never seen an owner taking so much pain and doing so much effort to make your celebrations worth remembering for lifetime. Highly recommended
