I visit mercier Castle. Overlooking the city from the grassy hilltop of the Castle Rock, It is powerful yet elegant, lavish yet wholly inviting to anyone fortunate enough to find themselves standing at the castle .

Surrounded by a beautiful garden, the castel seems out of time... The inside offers a very eclectic deco, notably paintings by Ernest Bieler.

Un Château construit début 20ème siècle par Mr Mercier pour son épouse. Extraordinaire mécène qui a fait également un don de 100'00.- de l'époque pour la construction de l'ancien Hôpital de Sierre. Belle générosité. Depuis c'est devenu un Hôtel de luxe. En 2006 durant l'été, il y avait des animations extérieures avec un buffet servi par la Boucherie Girardin de Sierre que je vous recommande également. Bien du plaisir Lenny
