The house in the mountain is very very scenic that's true. But there are too many people. Also, if it has been raining don't go down on foot, take the cablecar as the path gets very muddy and thus, very slippery.
You can have a beer at the base of a vertical wall that is not constructed by humans. A building which saved some costs by not building the back wall. A good place to study geology and rock degradation. A place where you can only study some of the night sky stars.
Great spot to have a drink and when you are hiking in the Mountains. Check out the caves nearby.

Ascher mountains, lovely place had a good view and made a day hiking it. Make sure to go from March to October, they are open only during that time.
Nice chapel at the top of ebenalp
This church is carved out in the rock of this mountain, cliff face, just amazing. Isolated and remote, with a wonderful view of the valley. Its on the way to Aescher.
