You need a membership card to shop. Easely obtained. Shop itself is huge. Selection is staggering. Cold drinks section huge, massive selection of imported and local beers, wine and spirits. Excellent. Meat section is the best. Good quality, really good prices. But, not everything is priced competitively. So know your prices before shopping.

As time passes prices are going up to the point of not being competitive with supermarkets in the city, while quality is going down. Fresh goods are often not very fresh. It is not hard to find expired goods on the shelves. You cannot enter the shop with even a small gym bag or laptop-sized bag, which is quite annoying because: 1) It seems to apply only to men as most women in the shop have some sort of handbag, 2) it is uncommon in Switzerland and 3) because the few (6) lockers that are at the entrance require that you bring your own lock...

One can find variety of products that are not possible to find elsewhere or maybe I just did not find any place yet. Raclette is one of examples, or beer. There are of course other products as well. And the prices are quite good.
