For any coffee drinkers from the British Isles/Australasia etc: this is the first place I've found in Schaffhausen (and Switzerland, but presumably there are more niche places in the likes of Zürich etc.) that does a proper flat white - and it's also a pretty good one too. Only wish the place were open more often than it is though...

There are coffee shops. Big, small, cozy or fancy, commercial, trendy, good and not so good. Then, once in a while you find a little divey jewel that you can finally call home. That is Bohnen Blühn for me since I moved into town. Christa roasts a few selected beans (available for purchase, along home brewing supplies) and prepares the best espresso shots in town. Serious good stuff. Tiny shop with only a couple of tables... it's a well kept secret, but just because it's you I will share. Enjoy ;)
Christa ist sehr lieb und zuvorkommend. Ich liebe ihren Kaffee und ihr kleines, aber feines Café. Leider hat sie nicht so oft geöffnet, sonst würde ich jeden Tag meinen Kaffee bei ihr trinken.
Schönes Ambiente und feiner Kaffee aus eigener Rösterei. Da gehe ich einfach gerne hin :-)
