The food was amazing and so was the decoration. However I found the service to be odd not bad...but odd, there were a lot of work from the team, but certain details were missing like poking the fruit pate with knife and placing it on to the guest plate across the table. Nothing wrong with this if it happens in other restaurant, but I don't think this is just another restaurant....

Where to start... everything was just perfect. From the moment you park your car, you enter another world, where time has stopped and you can let yourself go. It’s a true relais & châteaux feel, based on passion and the pleasure & pride of making you discover something unique. The room was stunning, we had the duplex suite which was perfect for a family of 4 with chateau charm to it. The épicerie is also quite unique, again passion is the key here. Let the master of ceremony take you through all the unique products they offer and his carefully selected collection of wine. And it’s not the usual tourist trap with overpriced crackers, no everything is just right with the right price. Then the restaurant. We booked the private cellar room which gave us enough privacy for the kids to enjoy as well. Everything was perfectly balanced with a flavour structure that was surreal. We also enjoyed a unique local wine which you cannot find in retail, the domaine de la comtesse eldegarde merlot, just mind blowing... and as if this was not enough, the next morning the most amazing breakfast awaits you. Freshly made jam (I mean fresh from the morning), amazing croissant and danish... just the perfect end to an unforgettable weekend
